Specialist Continence & Women’s Health Physiotherapist
Patricia is new to Flex but has a long time interest in the pelvic floor and the things that go wrong with it.
She is a Specialist Continence & Women’s Health Physiotherapist and a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (awarded 2010). She has a Doctorate in Physiotherapy (PhD) on female stress urinary incontinence from the University of SA, where she is an adjunct senior lecturer. She has lectured widely in Australia and internationally, she has authored many papers on pelvic floor issues and written several book chapters. She likes to work as a mentor and educator with young physiotherapists who are interested in pelvic floor dysfunction. Above all, Patricia likes to help people with their pelvic floor problems - weak pelvic poor muscles, bladder and bowel incontinence and pelvic pain (both men and women,) as well as female pelvic organ prolapse. As a Specialist Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, and the only one in SA, Trish is particularly interested in helping people with complex pelvic floor problems.
Patricia is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
