APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Sarah graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1998.After initially moving to NSW to gain some general experience in the hospital setting, Sarah spent 7 years in England during which she furthered her skills in private practice, orthopaedics, occupational health, acupuncture and Pilates.
Sarah joined Flex in 2008 and has continued to pursue her interest in treating muscle imbalances and postural dysfunction utilising the Pilates method. This has been underpinned by her study through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and Dance Medicine Australia (DMA). Sarah also utilises Real Time Ultrasound (RTUS) in her Pilates assessments.
Sarah is a titled APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist having completed her Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2012. She has a special interest in solving more complex problems especially neck, spinal, pelvic and lower limb.
Sarah has developed a special interest in pre and post-natal exercise and pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions since having her own children. She is a member of the APA continence and women’s health group and has completed the Level 1 Women’s Heath course.
Sarah is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
