Jason has always had an interest in health, science and the human body. Jason completed a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy at TAFE NSW in 2019. This sparked an interest in Remedial Massage assessment and techniques, so he followed it up by completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2020.
While he was studying, Jason began practising massage through his own business and a premium wellness retreat. Since obtaining his Diploma, he has undertaken a variety of post-graduate courses to broaden and hone his skills.
Jason particularly enjoys helping people with pain and dysfunction. He has special interests in treating lower back pain, scoliosis, back, neck and shoulder issues.
Jason uses physical assessment, medical history, treatment history and client needs to formulate a treatment session. He draws on a variety of techniques depending on individual requirements, and so a session might include such things as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching and structural correction. He is also qualified to perform dry needling, so this could also be part of a treatment if it is deemed potentially helpful, and the client consents.
In his personal life, Jason enjoys catching up with friends, drinking coffee, going to the gym and engaging in personal development.
Jason is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
