Maddie Kelly
Exercise Scientist/ Flex RUN Instructor
Maddie is passionate about helping people achieve their exercise and performance goals while maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. She graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2023 and has since undertaken further study in Nutrition and Food Science. She is currently completing an Honours degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Adelaide University.
Maddie has been part of the Flex Norwood team for over a year, where she leads our Flex RUN group strength classes. Working under physiotherapy guidance, she develops evidence-based, individualised strength programs for runners, with a focus on improving strength and running efficiency while reducing injury risk.
With a strong personal background in running, touch football and netball, Maddie brings both academic knowledge and practical sporting experience to her work. She is a distance runner with Run As One Athletic Club and represented at the National Youth Championships for touch football in 2018 and 2019. She has also gained valuable strength and conditioning experience through placements with the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Netball SA.
Maddie is passionate about supporting people of all abilities to participate in exercise and recreational activities that contribute to their health, wellbeing and quality of life. Through her ongoing studies and future clinical placements, she is looking forward to expanding her experience working with individuals living with chronic health conditions, disability and injury.
Maddie is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
