Sarah Clarke

APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Sarah has over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist and has spent time working in NSW and England gaining experience is orthopaedics, occupational health, acupuncture, Pilates and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Sarah joined Flex in 2008 and has continued to pursue her interest in treating muscle imbalances and postural dysfunction utilising the Pilates method. This has been underpinned by her study through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and Dance Medicine Australia (DMA).

Sarah is a titled APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist having completed her Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2012. She has a special interest in solving more complex problems especially neck, jaw, spinal, pelvic and lower limb.

Sarah has developed a special interest in pre and post-natal exercise and pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions since having her own children. She enjoys running our Mum’s & Bumps Flex FIT classes and has a special interest in helping pregnant women and new mums keep fit and healthy.

Sarah also has an interest in cancer rehabilitation and is a certified Pinc and Steel Physiotherapist. She utilises her clinical Pilates knowledge in helping people diagnosed with cancer maintain their physical fitness during treatment and after cancer treatment. Sarah completed her GLA:D certification in 2018 and is involved in running our GLA:D classes for clients with Osteoarthrititis at Flex Norwood. She enjoys educating people on how they can manage chronic conditions such as arthritis with exercise. Click here to find out more about the GLA:D Program.
