Tom Lancaster
Physiotherapist
Tom graduated from the University of South Australia in 2018 and has since built extensive experience across private musculoskeletal practice and elite sport. Alongside his work in private practice, he is the Head Physiotherapist for the League and Reserves programs at Sturt Football Club (SANFL). In 2025, Tom was part of Sturt Football Club's historic SANFL League Premiership-winning medical team. He has also previously worked as the Physiotherapist for AFL umpiring in South Australia.
In 2024, Tom was selected as the Physiotherapist for the Australian Under 20 Athletics Team, travelling to Peru to provide medical support at the World Athletics U20 Championships. Working alongside Australia's emerging elite athletes further strengthened his expertise in high-performance sports medicine, injury management, and return-to-sport rehabilitation.
Treating everyone from recreational exercisers to elite athletes has enabled Tom to develop a reputation for accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and personalised rehabilitation programs. His approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause of pain, providing clear education, and developing practical treatment plans that help patients recover confidently and return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside the clinic, Tom is a passionate middle-distance runner who competes regularly in Athletics SA and South Australian Athletic League competitions. As a three-time Bay Sheffield sash winner, he understands firsthand the demands of training, competition, and injury recovery, allowing him to bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the athletes he treats.
