William Smith

Exercise Physiologist

Will graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) in 2025 and is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities improve their confidence, physical function, and quality of life through structured exercise. He takes a personalised approach to exercise, working with each client to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies that fit into their lifestyle and are achievable in the long term.

Will has a particular passion for active ageing and supporting people to maintain their independence, strength, and confidence as they age. Having worked within aged care settings and developed and delivered strength and balance classes, Will uses resistance training, balance and plyometric exercises to help improve or maintain physical function and reduce barriers to staying active. He is also interested in supporting individuals managing chronic conditions, recognising the important role exercise can play in maintaining function and managing health over the long term.

Will also works with our Flex Care team, where he recognises the role of exercise in supporting behavioural regulation, mental health, and ongoing physical function.

With a background in competitive basketball, tennis, and soccer, Will also has a strong interest in injury rehabilitation and helping people safely progress towards their return to sport. He enjoys using objective strength testing and technology within the clinic to assess and track progress, providing measurable information to help guide exercise programs and rehabilitation.

Will runs regular strength and balance classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as well as providing one-on-one exercise physiology consultations. He enjoys working with people across a range of abilities and is committed to making exercise safe, meaningful, and achievable for every client.

William is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
